Since the first year of 1992, "Der Perwolff" has been the figurehead of the Krutzler winery and has significantly shaped the Austrian red wine history. Blaufränkisch in its highest form of iron-containing clay & slate floors. 

In the nose, a strong and multi -layer aroma spectrum is revealed. Initially intensive dark forest berries paired with filigree herbal seasoning after rosemary and white pepper. In the background, a fine essential note vibrates for young mint leaves together with an elegate-fine wooden note for nougat and a little bitter chocolate. With some air there is a delicate nuance of candied exotic fruits. It is incredibly juicy & concentrated on the palate, but never cumbersome or massive. An animating mature acid makes the wine float elegantly and finely. The ripe and fine -grained tannin also gives structure and length.
